What we believe

  1. That Jesus Christ is the Son of the Living God, and the only Savior from sin.
  2. That Jesus Christ is the Healer of the body through the shed Blood of Jesus Christ.
  3. That Jesus Christ is the Baptizer with the Holy Spirit.
  4. That Jesus Christ is the Soon Coming King.
  5. That Jesus Christ is the same, yesterday, today and forever.

We love to welcome new people into our church and we hope you will feel welcome with us. It is our desire to help people find God and his purpose for them in the kingdom of God. Are you searching for an enthusiastic church who is open to people from all cultural backgrounds?

“Changing lives, Making disciples, Reaching the world”

Our history

Gospel Church ‘The Door’ has been active in Arnhem since 1982. The church in Arnhem started as a small bible study group out of The Door Zwolle. When the little group grew, Bart and Wilma Kooijker were sent out to establish the church in Arnhem.
In 2018 Bart and Wilma Kooijker took over the work in the church of Guangzhou (China). Bert en Gerda Fledderus came to Arnhem to take over the work in the church.

Where it all began...

We are a part of Christian Fellowship Ministries (CFM). Our Fellowship started in 1970, when pastor Wayman and his wife Nelda Mitchell took over a little church in Prescott, Arizona (U.S.A.). In that time there was a great revival within the ‘hippie’ community who called themselves the Jesus People Movement.

“Through their conversion to Jesus Christ their hearts were changed and they were delivered from drug addictions, emptiness and aimlessness.”

They marched with thousands through the streets of the United States telling everyone they were born again. Through their conversion to Jesus Christ their hearts were changed and they were delivered from drug addictions, emptiness and aimlessness. Pastor Mitchell saw the potential in them and began to make disciples and plant new churches.

Gospel church The Door in Arnhem is a part of a fast growing movement called, Christian Fellowship Ministries (CFM). We have over 2.700 churches worldwide in at least 125 different nations. In The Netherlands our churches are called Gospel church The Door.
